Nightmare Christmas

Christmas looks bleak for Carl as his secrets threaten to spill out. Opening up to James, Carl admits his mum has died, he got drunk, and now deeply regrets sending a text he wishes he could take back.

However, his honesty backfires when James threatens to reveal everything to Abi. With his relationship hanging by a thread and nowhere to hide, Carl scrambles to contain the damage. As Christmas approaches, Carl faces the very real prospect of being left completely alone — unless he can stop the truth from coming out.

Affair Drama

Carl’s double life edges dangerously close to exposure as temptation takes over. Spotting James, Carl suggests they both deserve some fun, while Abi takes Alfie to see Kevin.

When Kevin asks her to stay and watch a film, Abi texts Carl instead, eager to get home. Back at Abi’s flat, Carl and James give in to their attraction, tearing at each other’s clothes — unaware Carl’s phone is buzzing nearby.

With Abi heading back, is Carl about to be caught out and handed a devastating Christmas shock?

Carl’s Lies Unravel

Carl’s lies begin to unravel as suspicion closes in from all sides. Claiming he wants to see his mum’s body to say a final goodbye, Carl accepts Ronnie’s offer to go with him — but questions soon follow. At the hotel, Ryan grows wary after discovering Carl has secretly changed the account passwords. Later, Carl opens up to Ronnie, admitting his mum never showed him love and that it’s left him unable to love properly. When Ronnie bluntly asks if he truly loves Abi, Carl is left dangerously exposed.

Wedding Day Chaos

Debbie and Ronnie’s big day arrives — but chaos is never far away. As Sally, Bernie, Christina and Glenda help Debbie get ready, she frets after breaking her specs, fearing it’s a bad omen. When guests head to the venue, panic sets in over Bernie and Debbie’s whereabouts. Despite ordering Kevin and Carl to bury the hatchet, tension simmers. Meanwhile, Abi makes a shocking discovery — a bag of cash in Carl’s boot that vanishes moments later. Convinced he’s planning to flee, Abi alerts Kevin, leaving Carl’s fate hanging in the balance.
