EastEnders reveals Zoe’s horror Christmas threat – as new suspect is revealed

EastEnders’ Zoe Slater believes she’s unmasked her stalker next week, when she makes a discovery that leads her to the conclusion Tommy Moon is the culprit! Believing she’s unearthed evidence incriminating her little brother, Zoe lashes out as her tormentor tightens the screws. But has she made a mistake?

“Zoe’s fragile state of mind means she’s not thinking straight,” says our insider, “making it harder to work out who’s behind this hate campaign. Someone wants to destroy Zoe’s life – and they’re doing a pretty good job.”

With Freddie getting ready to leave Walford to go travelling with Anna, the Slaters should be pulling together to give the pair a good send off.

However, Zoe’s drama is ripping the family apart, after she accused Jean of being her stalker. Kat wants everyone to stop squabbling and does her best to keep an increasingly paranoid Zoe calm.

The community gathers to bid Anna and Freddie bon voyage as the Square Christmas lights are switched on. But what should be a happy occasion that brings everyone together suddenly takes a terrifying twist…

“When the lights are turned on, a disturbing message is revealed in the window of The Vic,” explains our source. “It’s clearly aimed at Zoe – her persecutor has struck again. It leaves Zoe more determined than ever to expose her secret nemesis. She’s on a mission…”

Later that evening, Zoe’s suspicions are piqued when she notices something in Tommy’s rucksack. What she finds puts Tommy firmly in the frame, so Zoe confronts the teen and accuses him of the crime.

Horrified to have the finger pointed in his direction, stunned Tommy denies his distressed sibling’s allegation and protests his innocence to Kat and Alfie. But is he telling the truth?

Yet another barney breaks out between mother and daughter, as Zoe lashes out at Kat for taking Tommy’s side. Alarmed at how volatile Zoe’s behaviour has become, the landlady reluctantly throws her out of the pub!

Feeling isolated, Zoe is grateful for some support from Lauren. The women have struck up a fast friendship, but as they discuss Zoe’s search for her long-lost son, her anonymous enemy is plotting their next move…

As Zoe and Lauren are walking through the Square, someone is lurking in the shadows and spying on them. Who is watching Zoe from afar? Are they about to reveal themselves, or is their evil agenda only just beginning?
