The Diane Miller portrayer on the hit ABC soap took to her Instagram Stories on November 12 to share a photo of her bandaged leg from the hospital.

“Second surgery was a success! Thank you for all the love and support!” the actress captioned the post. “Finally able to go home with my animals.”

Hennesy’s injury has not dimmed her humor one bit. In the same post, she joked to her followers, “Please send book, TV, movie recommendations or… diamonds as I convalesce.”

Previously, Hennesy announced on X that she had to cancel a scheduled performance due to a leg injury she sustained in October.

“Hello all, due to unforeseen circumstances, like a broken leg, my performance at Vibrato on November 5 has been postponed,” the actress wrote at the time. “We’ll get ‘er done, just not on the 5th.”

Last week, the “General Hospital” vet confirmed that her first surgery was a success and that she’s headed for another one, per Soap Opera Digest.

“First surgery went well and the second surgery is scheduled for Thursday,” Hennesy wrote. “All thoughts and prayers are welcome.”

Hennesy Grateful for All the Love & Support from Fans

In a separate post, Hennesy expressed her gratitude to fans for their unwavering love and support.

“Hey all…been under the radar since the fall. Just took a moment from PT to read the outpouring of well wishes from y’all,” the actress wrote on X. “So wonderful; thank you from the bottom of my heart. I’ve said it for 20 years, GH fans are the best; mine are the BEST of the best. LOVE TO ALL!”

Fans quickly reciprocated the love with well-wishes and anticipation for her return on “General Hospital.”

One fan wrote, “Love Diane to pieces and miss her when she is not on. However, Carolyn Hennesey is the REAL DEAL! Love you in everything you do! Heal well and then come back and blow us away!”

Another commented, “Hope you’re recovering well from your second surgery. We need saucy Diane back! ‘GH’ isn’t the same without you!”

Hennesy first stepped into the role of Diane Miller on “General Hospital” in 2007, and her performance has earned her two Daytime Emmy nominations in the Supporting Actress category.
