EastEnders hints at mysterious new Tommy Moon secret in early iPlayer release
EastEnders spoilers follow for Monday’s episode (1 December), which is available to watch now on streaming service BBC iPlayer and hasn’t yet aired on TV.
EastEnders has hinted that Tommy Moon could be hiding a major secret from his family, as he attempts to rebuild his life following his friendship with dangerous Joel Marshall. Zoe Slater accuses him of being her tormentor after a shock discovery, but could he be hiding something else?
Zoe is more on edge than ever about who is out to get her, after receiving an anonymous Christmas card containing photos of her and another sinister threat.

Tensions remained high between Jean and the rest of the family in today’s episode, after she was accused of sending the threats. But Zoe began to suspect Anthony again, realising that her Christmas card arrived just hours after she turned him down.
Kat urged her daughter to draw a line under everything and leave Anthony in the past and later encouraged Jean to give Zoe a break.
Meanwhile, Tommy and Lily tried to sneak upstairs but were caught by Kat. Tommy made his excuses as to why he couldn’t help with the evening’s festivities, but Kat knew he was lying.
As the community gathered for the Christmas lights switch on, Zoe tried to make amends with Anthony – who remarked that if he wanted to scare her, he would try harder.
But there was more turmoil for Zoe when the button was pressed, and it was revealed that the word ‘die’ had been written in lights in the window of The Vic.
While Kat and Alfie were left worrying who was responsible for this, Zoe started packing to leave – but was horrified when she found a can of spray paint and an empty box of lights in Tommy’s rucksack.
In front of Kat and Alfie, Zoe confronted Tommy, who was left speechless by the allegation. But meanwhile, Lily’s suspicions were raised and she accused Jean of writing the message in lights.
Jean conceded and admitted to the act, making it clear that she wants Zoe gone. However, if Jean was responsible, why does Tommy have these items in his bag – and what could he be hiding?
