EastEnders’ Kat Moon issues two severe warnings later this month in a bid to protect her daughter Zoe Slater from Anthony Trueman. After learning the truth about Anthony’s marriage break up, Kat darkly threatens him to stay away from her daughter…

“The information that Kat learns about Anthony’s past makes her suspicious of the doctor, and she doesn’t want him anywhere near Zoe,” reveals our Walford insider.

“They all have a very complex shared past, and with all the drama involving Zoe’s stalker, Kat’s really worried. She believes that getting closer to Anthony could be dangerous for Zoe.”

When Anthony realises that Patrick has spoken to his ex-wife Sophie, he lashes out at his dad for spreading his secrets around the Square. At The Vic, Zoe arrives to speak to her mum – and is met with Kat’s second warning.

“Warning Anthony off Zoe isn’t enough for Kat, so she also hammers home the message to her rebellious daughter,” says our source. “Zoe is dealing with her own issues with Jean anyway, but Kat’s frantic plea could plant another seed of paranoia in her suspicious mind!”

Will Kat’s desperate attempts to keep Zoe and Anthony apart prove successful, or could the pair be drawn back together again?

Meanwhile, Zoe gets a blast from the past when she comes face to face with her old rival Sam. The pair haven’t seen one another in over two decades and things are bound to be tense; viewers will remember that Zoe never faced charges for her role in Den’s death, while Sam initially took the blame for the murder.

It’s no surprise then, that Zoe wastes no time in accusing Sam of being responsible for the harassment she’s faced. Sam immediately denies this, but she soon ends up in a tense confrontation with Kat, who naturally jumps to her daughter’s defence.

While it remains to be seen whether or not Sam is Zoe’s tormentor, Sam has more pressing issues to deal with on her return to Walford. She finds a lump and fears for her health, in a new storyline which will see her diagnosed with breast cancer.
