The festivities are winding down and while people often look ahead to a fresh start as a New Year gets underway, the Christmas fallout is only set to follow the Coronation Street residents into 2026.

While they try and put that aside as Debbie Webster and Ronnie Bailey tie the knot, it’s set to be an explosive start to the New Year as the long-running show will join with its Yorkshire counterpart, Emmerdale, for a dramatic crossover.

But ahead of the life-changing event for those in Weatherfield and the Dales, spoilers for the New Year period on the cobbles have already been revealed, with episodes starting on Monday, December 29, and ending on Friday, January 2026.

Later, Asha calls Kit and informs him that according to her colleague, Costello kept repeating three words, and the detective constable soon realises it’s a three-word location reference.
