George’s distrust of Nicola begins at the start of the week, when optimistic Honey attempts to play matchmaker between the two former flames.

However, when he notices his wife meddling, Billy grows worried for George. Viewers will remember that before Teddy began a life sentence in prison for a crime he didn’t commit, he told Billy that Nicola was trouble and George should be careful.

Remembering Teddy’s bold final words, Billy decides that he needs to get involved, so wastes no time in passing on this ominous message to George.

“Teddy cautioned Billy that Nicola was poisonous and asked him to make sure that George watches his back around her,” our insider reminds us. “Seeing the possibility of George and Nicola getting back together is on the table, Billy feels that it’s his duty to warn his pal.”

This week, Nicola faced huge danger when Ravi realised that she and Harry spiked his drink with hallucinatory drugs, which in turn led to him accidentally attacking his son Nugget.

Ravi threatened Nicola and Harry with a baseball bat, and only Priya’s arrival stopped him from carrying out a brutal act of violence.
