EastEnders confirms who Jasmine is in Walford for – and it’s not who you expect
Tonight’s EastEnders finally sheds light on Jasmine Fisher’s (Indeyarna Donaldson-Holness) true intentions in Walford, and the answer isn’t the one most viewers were expecting. While Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) and Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa) have been busy trying to work out what Jasmine’s connection is to them, it turns out she has her sights on someone entirely different, and her actions over the episode suggest she’s playing a much deeper game than anyone realised.
The episode begins with Jasmine lingering on the Square, keeping a close eye on Anthony Trueman from a distance. Spotting Jasmine standing alone, Cindy wastes no time wandering over and reminding her she shouldn’t just ‘hang around on street corners.’ Jasmine brushes it off quickly, claiming she’s simply waiting for Oscar.
Cindy then heads over to Anthony, hoping to squeeze in her appointment at the GP surgery. But Anthony, looking slightly stressed, has news of his own; the surgery has flooded, forcing him to cancel the day’s appointments. With an unexpected day off on his hands, he decides the best solution is to head out for a drink with Patrick.
Meanwhile, Jasmine finds Oscar at the fruit stall and immediately quizzes him about Anthony. Her questions are a little too pointed to be casual, but Oscar doesn’t pick up on it. Instead, he jumps to the conclusion that Jasmine has a crush on the doctor. He teases her about it, while feeling slightly jealous.

Jasmine leads Oscar straight to the now-empty GP surgery, using Anthony’s keys to let them both inside. Oscar is clearly unnerved, not quite sure why they’re there or what Jasmine’s really planning. She distracts him with vague explanations about wanting time alone together, and Oscar’s thrilled to her her attention back on him.

As soon as Oscar leaves, confused and unsure what to make of the whole situation, Jasmine doubles back. She sneaks inside alone, making sure there are no witnesses. Once she’s in, she heads straight for Anthony’s computer, but what is she looking for?
With Jasmine now alone in a GP surgery, scrolling through Anthony’s files, the question now isn’t how she got in, but why she’s gone to such lengths to access the doctor’s private records.
While the audience still doesn’t know exactly what she’s looking for or what her connection to Anthony might be, Jasmine’s mask is slowly starting to slip more and more. Is she still digging for information on Cindy? But whatever it is she’s after, she seems willing to lie, manipulate, and break the law to get it.
