Even though Taylor Sheridan will be leaving Paramount for a multi-million dollar deal at Universal, many of his projects he had in development he had at Paramount are finally coming to fruition. One of those is The Madison. The Yellowstone spinoff was originally entitled 2024, to line up with the other Yellowstone spinoff and prequel series 1883 and 1923. The show landed Michelle Pfeiffer as the lead and soon after Lost‘s Matthew Fox and Escape from New York‘s Kurt Russell were about as well.

While there has not been an official Season 2 pickup, we understand that filming for Season 2 already began in late 2025 and has since wrapped. Season 2 may serve as a back-end order for Season 1 or as a separate Season 2.
