The Madison release date: When is the Taylor Sheridan series out?
Taylor Sheridan’s upcoming family drama now has some exciting first-look images.

Yellowstone fanatics and fans of Taylor Sheridan’s work are bursting with excitement after the official release date for his upcoming drama The Madison was released.
The highly anticipated TV drama, which stars some huge names like Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell, will air on Paramount Plus and it follows the Clyburn family in the Madison River valley of central Montana.
The six-episode season is scheduled to premiere on March 14 and it marks Sheridan’s shortest project to date, with his works usually running for eight or 10 episodes.
This will not be the end of the series, however, as before the season one release date was even released, the series reportedly received a season two order.
As Deadline previously reported, The Madison’s second season was slated to begin filming back in September. The series has been described as Sheridan’s most intimate work to date, as it delves into grief and human connection.
The cast also includes Beau Garrett, Elle Chapman, Patrick J. Adams, Amiah Miller, Alaina Pollack, Ben Schnetzer, Kevin Zegers, Rebecca Spence, Danielle Vasinova and Matthew Fox.
Paramount released some first-look images which show the cast in the present day, including Pfeiffer as Stacy Clyburn and Garett as Abigail Reese.

Fans took to X, formerly Twitter, to share their thoughts on the latest update, with Luce commenting on one of the photos: “Beautiful shot. We’re ready & waiting for you, Pfeiffer.”
Commenting on an image of Ben Schnetzer as Sheriff Van Davis, one fan said on Deadline’s website: “I will tune in for that sheriff alone!!”
The neo-Western series is the fifth series in the Yellowstone franchise, but it is not connected to the original Yellowstone.
The project was green-lit in May 2023 as an untitled Yellowstone spin-off series and filming took place in Montana from September to October 2024.
Scenes set in New York City were filmed in Dallas, and production later moved to Fort Worth, Texas. Filming for season two wrapped in North Texas in December 2025.
On December 20 star Elle Chapman posted an Instagram story confirming the show had wrapped production, sharing: “And that’s a wrap on season 2. Heart is full.”
There were questions over whether the second batch of episodes would act as a second season, or as a part two to season one.
