B&B Recap November 26: Preparing for Thanksgiving

At the Cliff House, Steffy, Taylor, and the kids are getting everything ready for Thanksgiving. Taylor loves the aprons—great idea, and apparently Kelly picked them out.

They’re cooking a feast of all feasts, and Kelly is sure it’s going to be so yummy. She makes a little smiley face, and Taylor notes that Steffy used to do that when she was little.

Finn and Hayes come in from a swim and offer to help with whatever they can. Taylor is just happy to be there with all of them as they share a big hug.

Steffy tells Finn to put those biceps to work and help crush the potatoes.

Ridge Arrives for Thanksgiving

Ridge shows up with flowers, and the kids are excited to see him, asking if he’s sticking around. He tells them he’s spending Thanksgiving with them—his family.

“So, to what do we owe the pleasure?” Taylor asks. Ridge says he’s making the rounds—he had brunch with Brooke, Donna, and Eric.

Taylor tells him Steffy is happy he’s there, and she’s glad that painful chapter is behind them. Ridge wonders if she’s happy, too. Taylor insists she is. She’s exactly where she belongs—with family.

Ridge and Finn offer to take over for a bit, but the ladies worry they’ll make a mess of things. So far, nothing has been burned, though, and the guys promise they’ve got it under control. The kids even offer to keep an eye on them.

The ladies sit down and chat. Steffy mentions she saw her mom and dad talking earlier. Taylor explains that Ridge is just worried about her, but she really is fine. Steffy says she’s amazed by her mom’s strength and resilience.

As dinner is ready, they all sit at the table and go around it saying what they are thankful for.

Sheila and Deacon Celebrate Thanksgiving

Over at Il Giardino, Daphne is singing and completely wowing Carter, Deacon, and Sheila.

They all think she has such a beautiful voice. When she performs, the place is packed. Daphne says she loves singing and has missed it so much. It’s Thanksgiving, and they all have a lot to be thankful for.

Later, Sheila mentions the turkey is in the oven and looking lovely. Daphne says they don’t have anything like Thanksgiving in France, but it’s always amazing to spend time with family and friends.

Deacon and Carter take a seat, and Carter tells him he’s there if Deacon ever needs legal advice. He admits they haven’t always gotten along, but Carter says to leave all that in the past. Deacon then invites Daphne and Carter to join them for dinner.

Daphne says Il Giardino has really become a second home to her. Carter doesn’t want to crash Deacon and Sheila’s plans, and he mentions he already has something special lined up for him and Daphne—maybe a dinner or two.

Sheila Reveals Her Wish

After they head out, Sheila tells Deacon it was nice of him to try to include them. She’s impressed by this new Deacon Sharpe. She adds that she’s improved too and even shows off her four toes now painted pink. She says she’s so thankful for him… and for someone else—Taylor. Deacon agrees.

Sheila tells him he can open up about what he and Taylor talked about, if he wants. He explains that Taylor got him to open up in a way he’s never been able to—not even with his own family.

Later, Deacon and Sheila sit down to dinner, chatting in Italian. She says the turkey is wonderful and juicy, and she knows he did all of this especially for her—she really appreciates it.

Deacon tells her that his morning with the kids was good. He asks if she’s thinking about Finn and Hayes. Sheila admits it would be nice to spend Thanksgiving with her son and grandson, but she’s not obsessing over it.
