‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers: Bill Should Know How to Spot a Con Artist

It would stand to reason that he would be able to spot a con artist like Hayley Lawson Hamilton (Marquita Goings) from a mile away.

Bill has much experience in dealing with criminals and dishonorable people. You would think he would have been wise and savvy enough to at least perform a background check on Hayley before marrying her.

Viewers knew Hayley was trouble when she pretended to be pregnant so she could coerce Bill to start a college fund for the baby and scam Bill out of money. Many fans knew she was faking.

Randy Parker (Maurice P. Kerry) and Hayley pretended they were strangers so that they could make it look like she had a miscarriage, and he came to her rescue by taking her to the hospital.

However, it turns out the two of them are cousins and have been playing Bill all along to get their greedy hands on his considerable cash flow. In fact, Hayley plans to collect on his ten million -dollar life insurance policy after she kills him!

This isn’t the first time that Hayley has suckered a man out of money. She would marry unsuspecting men and eventually take them for all they were worth.

Hayley weaseled her way into Bill and Dani Dupree’s (Karla Mosley) home through their daughter, Naomi Hamilton Hawthorne (Arielle Prepetit).

Hayley befriended Naomi when the two of them met at the gym. She used their so-called friendship to gain access to her family and then set her sights on her mark, Bill.

The gold digger succeeded in breaking up Dani and Bill so she could sink her claws into her next wealthy sugar daddy victim.

It’s baffling to many fans how Bill could be so oblivious to his wife’s deception. He took the time to hire someone to investigate Andre Richardson (Sean Freeman), and that was even before Andre married Dani.

Yet, he couldn’t be bothered to do his due diligence and conduct a background check into Hayley’s shady past.Not to mention, he still hasn’t figured out that Hayley and Randy are cousins. Even Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom) knows something shady is going on between Hayley and Randy.

We can also imagine Joey “taking care” of Randy and exposing Hayley for the fraud she is. Also, Hayley may be a con artist, but she’s also not too bright.

So far, she’s tried to poison Bill with cupcakes and tea several times and has yet to achieve her goal. She truly sucks at this whole black widow scenario.

Hayley also seems to have the hots for the handsome new man in town, Izaiah Hawthorne (Davis Lami Friebe). The two of them have flirted with each other, and if Hayley gets her way, she’ll end up in his bed.

It’s obvious that Hayley has a master plan. Hayley and Randy are desperate to get their pound of flesh at the expense of Bill’s life.

However, we predict that in the end, Dani finds out about Hayley’s evil plot and puts a stop to her lies. Right now, Bill thinks he’s married to the woman of his dreams. Little does he know, he’s married to a cold-hearted snake.
