That would open the door for Eva to step in and be the good sister. It’d force Kat to eat crow and accept her on some level.

But what if it’s Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) who needs the help?

‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers: Anita’s doctor visits pay off

If there’s one thing ‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers knows is there’s a reason for everything.

Things aren’t mentioned in a soap opera unless it’s going to be part of a storyline.

Kat being in an accident or deathly ill makes sense.

It’s a common trope, but so would be she and Eva being pregnant with Tomas Navarro (Alex Alegria)’s baby.

We don’t see that happening, but Anita has been going to the doctor a lot lately.

She keeps her visits secret, and that usually means there’s nothing to worry about yet or she doesn’t know what to say.

Given she hasn’t shown any signs of self reflection and goes about business as usual, we don’t think she knows anything yet.

But that could change, and when it does it’ll be like a bomb going off.

She’s a proud woman, and suddenly being sick would rock her.

Normally in soaps, they test every family member and friend to find someone compatible.

Whether it’s for a donation, a special blood type, and so on.

Anything is possible. Including no one being a match for Anita.

No one, that is, but Eva.

While that would make Leslie Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant) even more annoying, it’d be the perfect thing for Eva.

Kat will glare and continue to mock her, causing everyone to be annoyed with Kit Kat Brat.

But it’d allow Eva to right all the wrongs she was apart of and be protected by the Dupree’s when Leslie’s schemes are found out.

Anita and everyone would be forever grateful and Kat will have to accept her as part of the family. Albeit reluctantly.

Of course, knowing Kat she’ll claim Eva got Anita sick to play the hero.

Hope Nicole Richardson (Daphnée Duplaix) has a shock therapy session lined up for Kat in that case.
