Daytime stars are some of the hardest working actors and actresses in the business so when they get some downtown, it’s always fun to see what they do outside of the studios. While some share vacation pics or shots of their kids and pets, The Bold and the Beautiful Tanner Novlan (Finn) was spotted hanging out in another studio. No, it wasn’t to film a soapy crossover or anything like that…

The CBS soap star shared photos along with his wife, former Bold & Beautiful star, Kayla Ewell (ex-Caitlin) and some friends from inside Studio 8H at the NBC Studios at 30 Rockefeller Plaza in New York City. And if you’re a fan of Saturday Night Live then you know that’s the home of the comedy show.

“Some sketchy behavior on studio 8H,” the actor shared along with numerous pics from his evening out. And it wasn’t just for any episode, it was the first hosted by Novlan’s pal, actor Glen Powell, whose new film The Running Man just hit theaters on November 14th. Plus, the audience received an extra treat with the night’s musical guest having been none other than Olivia Dean.

One of Novlan’s daytime peers took notice of the post, which contained some shots of the CBS fave with the show’s first-time host, and Days of Our Lives’ Galen Gering (Rafe) cheered, “Love it!” And fans did too.

Last year for Powell’s birthday, Novlan posted some fun pics with his buddy and shouted, “Happy birthday brother!”

So, as you can see, their night out to celebrate Powell was clearly one this crew will never forget.
