A Coronation Street legend has been inundated with messages of love after posting a heartfelt marriage milestone online.

Adam Rickitt portrayed Nick Tilsley on the beloved ITV soap, first appearing in 1997 – and it’s safe to say he quickly won over viewers.
Yet Adam departed the programme in 1999 to chase musical stardom before returning to the famous street for a two-year period between 2002 and 2004. Following his departure, Adam has remained active, featuring in programmes such as Hollyoaks and BBC’s Doctors.
Beyond the entertainment industry, Adam is wed to Good Morning Britain presenter Katy Rickitt. The duo initially crossed paths when Katy conducted an interview with Adam in 2011 on GMB.
Three years afterwards, the couple exchanged vows in a magical winter ceremony in December 2014, reports the Mirror. Earlier this month, however, the pair shared the devastating news that their cherished pet Daphne had died.
On Saturday (December 20), Adam used his Instagram platform to honour his wife Katy as they celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary. The performer shared multiple photographs of the couple and penned in the caption: “11 years my bean. Thank you for jumping with me.”Every day I feel like someone is going to cotton as to how unjustifiably lucky I am to have you in my life. You are my best friend, my lover, my soul mate… my person @katyrickitt. Here’s to all the moments yet to come x.”
Adam’s followers quickly flooded the comments section with their congratulations, with one fan commenting: “Such a beautiful couple, happy anniversary to you both. Luck comes to those who deserve it.”
Katy responded: “I always think I can’t love you any more than I do already … and then I just do thank you sweetheart.” A second supporter added: “Aww, you two! Happy anniversary.”
This follows the devastating blow Adam and Katy faced earlier this month when their cherished dog Daphne tragically passed away. The couple shared the heartbreaking news on Instagram.
Accompanied by a collection of photographs featuring their pet, Katy disclosed that Daphne had died, leaving both her and Adam completely “blindsided” by the loss.
