Coronation Street to air dark new storyline for mysterious Jodie
Coronation Street‘s mysterious newcomer Jodie Ramsey is rumoured to be involved in a twisted storyline that will see her attempt to destroy Shona and David Platt.
Played by Olivia Frances Brown, Jodie was introduced during the explosive Corriedale episode in which it was revealed she was Shona Platt’s estranged sister.
Jodie was first seen bound and gagged in a van driven by Graham Foster, escaping during the multi-vehicle collision at the heart of the episode.
She was found by Kit Green and identified by a distinctive tattoo on her wrist, one which matched artwork on Shona’s back.
At the hospital, it was revealed how Jodie and Shona were connected, with Jodie deciding to make her way to the cobbles to support Shona and David after they welcomed their daughter, Harper.

But The Sun has reported that Jodie’s intentions could be far more sinister, and she becomes hellbent on destroying her sister’s life.
The publication claims that Jodie is set to “steal” Shona’s life, carrying out a revenge plot that will see her accuse her sister of abandoning her as a child.
Rumours suggest that Jodie is set to turn Shona’s friends and stepdaughter, Lily Platt, against her, as well as trying to seduce David.
Digital Spy reached out to Coronation Street, but the show doesn’t comment on storyline rumours.

This week, Jodie will receive two warnings about her flirting with Carl Webster, with our Corrie source saying: “Abi knows from bitter experience that Carl isn’t to be trusted. She blew up her entire life with Kevin to be with Carl, and ended up with nothing in return when his true colours were revealed!
“Shona’s also hugely protective over her sister now that Jodie is in town, so doesn’t want her to make a terrible mistake. But is Jodie really prepared to listen?”
