But will the guilty pair admit their involvement, or will the truth have to be forced out of them?

In tonight’s episode, Nugget’s family desperately seek answers about what happened to him, still unaware that it was Ravi who landed him in hospital while hallucinating.

When the police arrive, they question if Ravi had any enemies who would target his loved ones, as Nugget’s attack wasn’t simply a mugging.

“Whoever did that to your son really did a number on him. Someone who’s capable of doing something like that really shouldn’t be walking around,” the officer says.

Later, Priya makes it clear to Ravi that they can’t let their son know the truth about his attack, but demands “payback” from those responsible for Ravi’s spiking.

Meanwhile, back on the Square, Harry anxiously watches the police make their door-to-door enquiries, but Nicola assures him that there is no known link between them and Ravi.

Still, in a bid to protect her sons, Nicola suggests they take Barney and leave Walford “just until things cool down a bit”. Harry is reluctant at first, but later agrees to the plan when he learns that Nugget has no memory of the incident.

“I know what I would do if I was his old man. I’d start trying to fill in some of them blanks, and all of them are gonna come back to us,” he points out. “Even if he don’t think we did it, we still put him out of action just when his boy gets beaten up. He’s gonna be out for blood, mum.”

At The Vic, Ravi overhears Barney talking about his imminent trip away. The teen tells Zack that Nicola has probably “done something” and is “panicking about being found out.”

This leads Ravi to realise he was spiked by the Mitchells while he was chatting with Patrick Trueman in Harry’s Barn. He grabs a baseball bat and locks Priya in the flat when she tries to stop him from lashing out.

As Nicola and Harry prepare to make their escape, furious Ravi bursts through their door with the weapon. Could a long-running feud be on the horizon?
