EastEnders’ Zoe makes big decision ahead of cliffhanger in early iPlayer release
EastEnders spoilers follow for Thursday’s episode (27 November), which is available to watch now on streaming service BBC iPlayer and hasn’t yet aired on TV.
EastEnders’ Zoe Slater has made a big decision about her relationship with Anthony Trueman. She then receives yet another sinister threat that comes ahead of a huge week of drama for the whole Slater family…
This week, Zoe has faced backlash from Kat and Alfie for accusing Jean of being her stalker. Feeling lonely, he reached out to old flame Anthony and he was there to support her.
The pair shared a kiss and then slept together – but viewers know that Anthony might not have Zoe’s best interests at heart, as earlier he was seen looking at a slideshow of photos of her.
Today’s episode kicked off the next morning, and Zoe and Anthony were delighted after spending the night together. However, Patrick and Yolande weren’t pleased to spot Zoe leaving the house.

Yolande berated Anthony for sleeping with another woman while he is still married, while Patrick was confused about why he was interested in Zoe again. But Anthony insisted that he was serious about Zoe and that she could be ‘the one’.
Meanwhile, Zoe returned home to questions from worried Kat, who disapproved when she revealed that she had stayed with Anthony.
Kat was concerned about her daughter’s intentions, telling her daughter that what might be a bit of fun to her might mean more to Anthony and that he could be up for a proper relationship.
Zoe took her mum’s advice, and when Anthony came into the pub later and asked her out to dinner, she turned him down and said that last night was a mistake.
Anthony was furious about being rejected by Zoe and Kat jumped to her defence, making it clear that she’s not interested and encouraging him to focus on his relationship with his own kids.
Things got worse for Anthony, when he was later seen making an angry phone call to his wife Sophie, who was seemingly stopping him from seeing his children.
Zoe had a more positive day, but Alfie then found a Christmas card addressed to Zoe left by The Vic – containing a pile of photos of her and a message that read: “this isn’t over yet!”
Who sent this latest threat, and could scorned Anthony really be responsible?
