Portia’s Problems
This first development was inevitable. Portia (Brook Kerr) doesn’t know it, but people have been talking about her behind her back. They have been investigating her. Nina (Cynthia Watros) threw her under the bus to help lessen the suspicion on her daughter. Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) had Felicia (Kristina Wagner) look into Portia’s shaky alibi from the night of Drew’s shooting.
It looks like Portia could finally realize that she won’t be off the police’s radar for much longer. On top of that, if somebody finds out where she really was, it’ll blow up her world. So, yes, the weekly spoilers are correct. Portia has new reason to worry.
There’s also the matter of Trina (Tabyana Ali) and Kai (Jens Austin Astrup) and their being at Drew’s the night of the shooting. Trina has been wanting to come clean with her parents, telling them not to worry because the evidence of Portia’s wrongdoing is gone. But, really, Trina’s confession would bring up a whole new set of worries, wouldn’t they? Worries for her daughter, who’s keeping secrets from the cops.
Additionally, the teasers reveal that Aunt Stella (Vernee Watson) is on the warpath. She knows Portia is pregnant and doesn’t want her and Curtis (Donnell Turner) to divorce. What if Stella finds out something shady about Portia, and that’s why she is furious? If Stella’s fury has nothing to do with her family, then what has her raging?
The Men of the PCPD
Nathan (Ryan Paevey) has been a cop again for two seconds, and already he is dealing with major cases. There’s Drew’s shooting, and he has been really integral in this lab break-in case involving Rocco (Finn Carr). Plus, he somehow stumbled onto Laura (Genie Francis) when she was out and about in her car. She knew that there was a dead body in her trunk; Nathan didn’t.
What happens when Nathan suddenly surprises Dante (Dominic Zamprogna)? Surprise in what way — in a way that makes his boss nervous?
Meanwhile, speaking of surprises, Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) are about to experience one of their own. Hopefully, it has nothing to do with Chase’s quest to free Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), and it has everything to do with Brook Lynn and Chase. What stuns them?
Answers Demanded
Poor Lulu (Alexa Havins). Both of her kids are wrapped up in this lab break-in business, and she’s scared. Charlotte (Bluesy Burke) is now coming forward to hopefully help free her brother. Rocco is currently languishing in a juvenile detention facility. And who knows, she may figure out that her mom is acting strangely.
On Wednesday, Lulu wants answers. This could be about the break-in, the fact that Rocco is bruised, or what is going on with her mom. Mostly, Lulu wants Rocco out of juvie, so she could demand answers as to why that is not happening, even though Dalton’s story is crumbling. And he’s not around to respond to law enforcement’s questions.
