Many General Hospital viewers were heartbroken when Emily Quartermaine was strangled to death in 2007 by Diego Alcazar at Port Charles’ Black and White Ball and though Natalia Livingston brought the character back as a ghost a few times after, her absence was missed for a very long time. And now, fans are about to get a blast from the past…

Greg Vaughn, who also appeared as Lucky on the ABC soap in storylines with Livingston’s Emily, recently reconnected with his former co-star while in Atlanta, Georgia taping scenes for his new role on CBS’ Beyond the Gates.

“Quick trip to Atlanta and spoiled with a home cooked meal with Georgia’s finest family!” Vaughn shared while posting four pics with Livingston, her husband Matt Aldag and their two children, daughter Colette and son John. “Grateful for good food, great laughs, some story time and talent shows,” to which the actress replied, “Aw! You made our day, Greg Vaughan! Coco and Hux’s writing on their little boards about you says it all — ‘Mr. Greg is the best! Loving, caring, kind, silly, helpful.’ This is your home! We love you and can’t wait to see you again soon!”

Talk about the sweetest message ever from her little ones!

While Vaughan has played Eric on Days of Our Lives since 2012, after leaving General Hospital, Livingston turned up on the then NBC soap as Taylor Walker, Nicole’s sister.
