Home and Away spoilers! Harper makes police threat in biggest ever Tane row
Home and Away‘s Tane Parata makes a destructive mistake next week, as he risks pushing Harper Matheson away forever by disappearing with baby Archie. The former couple are at odds over Harper’s decision to welcome her estranged mother back into her life, but Tane’s reckless response causes shockwaves.
A difficult week for Tane begins as he remains flabbergasted by Jo Langham’s decision to put their relationship on hold. This week’s episodes see Jo reject Tane, feeling unsure over who she wants to be with now that her ex-boyfriend Eddie Shepherd is in town.
In follow-on scenes next week, Tane speaks to Eddie and discovers that Jo has lied to her ex about the nature of their relationship.
“Things between Tane and Jo were going from strength to strength before Eddie turned up,” our Home and Away source reminds us. “But as Jo reconnects with Eddie, she makes out that Tane is her personal trainer and nothing more.
“Jo’s lie gets back to Tane and he’s hurt that she’s already trying to rewrite history.”

The next morning, Jo trains with Tane at his regular bootcamp session on the beach. She questions why Tane is acting strangely, but soon discovers that he has uncovered her deception by speaking to Eddie.
Tane’s friend Mackenzie Booth encourages him to stop moping and fight for Jo, but he soon has other issues on his mind. The gym boss is furious when he discovers that Harper is trying to reconcile with her mum, who has a history of drug addiction.
“Tane warns Harper that he’ll never let her mum be part of their son Archie’s life,” our spy adds. “As far as he’s concerned, such an irresponsible person can’t be trusted and Archie’s safety is at stake.
“Harper stands her ground in response, insisting that her mum deserves a second chance. The former couple are left at a complete stalemate.”

The feud escalates when Harper finds an ominous note from Tane, which reveals that he has taken Archie away to keep him safe.
With Tane clearly in no hurry to bring Archie back, a frantic Harper considers calling the police. Her sister Dana urges her not to, pointing out that Tane is already on a suspended sentence for kidnapping.

“Tane eventually resurfaces when Harper leaves him a stern voicemail, threatening to involve the police if he doesn’t bring Archie back,” our insider explains.
“Cash assures Tane that technically he hasn’t broken the law, so there won’t be any legal repercussions. But Tane’s crushed when Harper insists on drawing up a formal custody arrangement for Archie, so nothing like this can ever happen again.”
Will Harper stick to her guns as she vows to seek advice from a solicitor?
