Home and Away star Isabel Lucas welcomes her first child at 40: ‘A new forever exists’
Australian actress Isabel Lucas has welcomed her first child with her American partner, Cyrus Sutton.
The former Home and Away star, 40, shared the news on Instagram alongside a string of photos from a pregnancy shoot and a shot of the little boy’s foot.
“Angels everywhere… In the signs and synchronicities, intuitive whispers, in the circles of support, in the water and nature’s intelligence,” Lucas began.
“Through all beauty and the pain, softening fear into love. Opening up new fields of possibilities, bridges of light.
“Thank you to all the angels… seen and unseen, known and unknown. Thank you to our bright little son, we love you all ways.”
Lucas did not reveal the tot’s name or face in the announcement.
Sutton took to Instagram to share a similar post, writing: “Turning personal life into content for one of the biggest companies in the world tastes especially foul these days so I try to keep posts on here tied to stuff I’m working on.
“So breaking my own rules with this one to share that @isabellucas and I welcomed a new life into the world a couple weeks ago in Byron Bay, Australia. He’s a healthy little guy who enjoys his mama’s milk and naps (typical).”
He went on to discuss how the couple first met.
“Isabel and I met through mutual friends, I spent a good amount of time here from 19 through my twenties,” he continued.
“We connected over our shared values and respect for each other’s work.
“We soon found ourselves on our way to celebrating a new beautiful life. It’s been a whirlwind and we are joyfully navigating the challenges of child rearing in our rooted bi-hemispheric realities.
“So far so good, and watching Isabel become a mother has been deeply moving. I have enormous respect for her strength, grace, and the care she brings to our son.”
The couple debuted their relationship to the world in August 2025.
Prior to her new romance, Lucas has been linked to a number of high-profile celebrities including Chris Hemsworth who she met on the set of Home and Away.

She was also linked to American actor Adrian Grenier and Australian folk singer Angus Stone from 2010 to 2012.
Lucas starred on Home and Away as Tasha Andrews from 2003 to 2006.
She went on to score major film roles in Transformers, Red Dawn and The Water Diviner, as well as the new iteration of iconic ’90s series MacGyver.
