The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) retirement push will enrage Eric Forrester (John McCook). This father-son feud will be back on, so there’s much more drama to come between Eric and Ridge.

Of course, this isn’t the first time Eric’s felt put out to pasture. B&B already told a similar story back when Eric was seriously ill and felt shoved aside by Ridge.

That led to Ridge and Eric’s fashion designer showdown, which Ridge let Eric think he won after finding out about his illness.

Ridge wanted to give Eric the gift of a victory since he assumed his dad was on the verge of passing away.

After Eric learned the truth, he decided it was about the nicest thing anyone had ever done for him.

Eric was touched over Ridge’s attempt to give him some joy on the way to the grave.

However, things are different now since Eric survived after all and has made a full recovery.

Instead of just kicking back with Donna Logan Forrester (Jennifer Gareis) and enjoying life outside the office, Eric is determined to remain a pivotal part of the company.

Unfortunately, that’ll lead to another round of clashing with Ridge during the week of December 1-5.

Ridge will act like they have everything under control and will push Eric to “go off into the sunset.”

Although Ridge will urge Eric to embrace retirement and relax, that won’t be what Eric wants at all.

Eric will point out that Ridge isn’t in his shoes and doesn’t understand his perspective.

After almost dying, Eric must feel like this is his second chance to accomplish all the things he wants to accomplish.

As far as Eric’s concerned, he can’t step away from the company when the universe gave him an opportunity to strengthen his legacy.

Ridge, on the other hand, may think Eric is hurting more than helping by trying to boss him around.

Since Ridge wants to be the boss now instead, that’ll bring some escalating tension in the coming episodes.
