Rebound romance and new ventures come to town on The Bold and the Beautiful as Carter is fixated on his intention to marry Daphne. Elsewhere, Katie starts recruiting for her new fashion house and Steffy points out all the reasons why Taylor and Deacon’s closeness is unwanted.

The previous week on The Bold and the Beautiful played out the nasty drama surrounding the naming of Katie’s new venture. Since she decided to name her company “Logan”, Brooke took offence at the name. The latter emphasized that she is known in the fashion industry by that name and, as such, it belonged to her.

However, Katie pointed out that only her husband, Ridge, called her that. Moreover, Logan was their family name and Katie had as much right to it as Brooke. Soon, Ridge and Katie dismissed Katie’s rights over the name, citing that Logan had been registered long ago.

Liam and Carter realized at the same time that the registration for Logan had expired. As such, both tried fast enough to grab the name. However, Liam was quicker and Katie won the name. In retaliation, Brooke visited Katie to come to a negotiation and to discourage her.

At the same time, Electra and Will insisted that Dylan stay with them at the beach house after listening to the reason behind her homelessness. Dylan accepted on the condition that Electra stayed at the beach house often. While Electra pointed out that Will desired Dylan’s respect, she also mentioned that Will was her boyfriend.

The Bold and the Beautiful: Steffy disapproves of Taylor’s feelings

Recently, fans saw Taylor and Deacon develop a close rapport. While Deacon found solace when talking to the psychiatrist, Taylor found a friend in Deacon on a rebound from Ridge’s rejection. They were seen getting almost romantically involved. However, Taylor pushed Deacon towards his wife, earning Sheila’s praise.

The Bold and the Beautiful preview shows Steffy learning about her mother’s feelings for Deacon. This will likely infuriate Steffy, who may think this association is inappropriate for various reasons. On one hand, Deacon is Taylor’s patient and she must not get romantically involved with a patient. On the other hand, Deacon is married to Sheila, who has the reputation of being unstable and dangerous.

Steffy will ask her mother to refrain from provoking Sheila by getting closer to Deacon. Long-term B&B fans may remember that Sheila had shot Taylor into a coma in the past. As such, she may not hesitate to do so again. This is particularly true since Sheila recently told Li that if Taylor created a rift between her and her husband, she would “kill” Taylor.

The Bold and the Beautiful: Daphne receives a proposal from her suitor

Fans already know that, after releasing Hope from their engagement, Carter turned towards Daphne for emotional support. Their relationship took a positive turn after Hope married Liam and settled into matrimony. During this time, the COO and the company’s perfumer were often seen together.

The upcoming episodes of The Bold and the Beautiful will see Carter blocking Daphne’s way to go down on one knee. While Daphne will likely look intrigued, Carter may profess his love by refusing to let her walk away from him. He may propose marriage to Daphne. Whether she agrees to marry remains to be seen.

Meanwhile, Carter will remain involved with the Forrester’s drama as FC tries to wrap Katie’s company’s registration around its head.

The Bold and the Beautiful: Katie embarks on the path of proving Brooke wrong

Recently, Katie received a new fashion house from her husband, Bill Spencer, as her wedding gift. However, when she decided to name her company based on her maiden family name, Brooke took offence. As mentioned before, the latter claimed that the name “Logan” belonged to her in the fashion industry. Moreover, Brooke discouraged Katie by emphasizing the disadvantages. Katie took this as a challenge.

The Bold and the Beautiful preview sees Katie meeting Deke. She will likely offer him the position of lead designer at the newly-launched company. The recently-fired FC designer may find Katie’s offer a life-saver since he is already disappointed at having his dream curtailed.

Katie may ask for Deke’s contribution to help her prove Brooke wrong. She hopes that Deke’s talent will help her establish her new venture. After Deke joins Katie’s company, the CEO may continue to source talent from other places. Whether Eric contributes to Katie’s venture remains to be seen.

The other major story arc for the upcoming week revolves around Dylan and her newfound camaraderie with Will and Electra. Whether she respects all boundaries remains to be seen.
