As Zoe tried to navigate the situation with Anthony, Lauren Branning found herself in an equally difficult position. Realising that she’d been scammed by her dodgy doctor, she was forced to admit all when Ian confronted her over the treatment.

Meanwhile, Howie resorted to theft again as Kim made a huge mistake.

Ian learned the truth as Lauren realised she’d been scammed

Lauren was in a state of panic after realising that she’d been scammed by her phony doctor. She was horrified to find that Ian had posted pictures of the pub quiz online, tagging in the charity too.

Still worried, she did what she should have done the day before, and asked Anthony about the experimental treatment. Her heart fell even further when Anthony informed her that it was probably a scam.

Back home, Lauren continued to fret as she received a visit from the charitable trust, who wanted to thank her for raising the money, and take a few pictures. Lauren was dismayed to hear how she and Peter would be featured as Fundraisers of the Month, her guilt boiling from within.

She received another visit from Ian, who begged her not to transfer the money to the doctors. He was appalled to realise that she’d already done it, but reluctantly agreed not to tell anyone (including Peter) how she’d stolen the charity money.

Can Lauren make things right?

Howie took action as the Kimfluencer slipped up

The Kimfluencer received a visit from Elaine, who hoped to secure her services in marketing her soon-to-open boutique hotel. After recording the video, Kim launched into a rant about her own followers, describing them as ‘sheep,’ while revealing how she’d hawk anything for a good freebie.

Unfortunately, Howie had neglected to end the livestream – meaning Kim’s sheep – sorry, followers, had heard everything.

Back home, she posted an apology video to her socials, but it wasn’t enough to stop the flow of her tanking numbers. Kim panicked to learn that her sponsors were now dropping her, leaving Howie with a huge void in the family finances to fill.

Spotting an opportunity during his rounds, Howie pocketed a package intended for Penny, containing what looked like an expensive jewellery item.
