Christmas on Coronation Street is rarely an uneventful affair – and this year is no different.

The ITV soap is back for its Christmas Day edition, with millions of fans across the country set to tune in.

With plenty of drama set to hit screens over the festive period, here’s when you can tune into Coronation Street on Christmas Day.

Corrie fans will be able to tune into the Christmas Day action on the cobbles from 7.15pm on ITV1 and STV.

The hour-long episode will see drama at the doorstep of the Driscolls as they spend their first Christmas at the Rover, meanwhile Roy has a troubling update for Lisa after Carla left for Spain. Todd is also still suffering at the hands of Theo, but Billy begins to suspect all is not rosy with the couple over the festive period.

The soap will return on Boxing Day at 7pm and there still plenty of drama in Weatherfield going on. Evelyn will find one mystery resident who has been brutally attacked.

Into the New Year, Debbie Webster will heading down the aisle to wed her beau Ronnie Bailey, who has stood beside her throughout her dementia journey.

After all of the festivities are are over, there’s some major drama heading to Weatherfield as the historic Corriedale episode airs on January 5.

The episode, which will see Coronation Street and Emmerdale cross over on screen for the very first time, is set to put characters from both ITV soaps in peril danger after a devastating country-road crash.
The Corriedale episode will help to launch the new ‘soap power hour’ on ITV, with both Emmerdale and Coronation Street moving to a new weeknightly slot in the schedule from January 5 onwards. Half-hour episodes of Emmerdale will hit screens at 8pm, while Coronation Street will follow at 8.30pm.
