Who Is REALLY Responsible for Rocco’s Troubles on General Hospital?
Rocco has been arrested on General Hospital, and Dante knows exactly who is to blame. But is he right? Here are a couple more candidates for him to consider.
Brothers in Arms
Gio (Giovanni Mazza) and Rocco (Finn Carr) only recently found out they’re brothers. Gio may be furious with newfound parents Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna), but he’s cool with his little brother.
Rocco, for his part, really wants to prove that he can be as cool as Gio. Something Gio had no qualms about taking advantage of when it came to roping Rocco into breaking into Dalton’s (Daniel Goddard, who is out on GH) lab. So, yes, Dante, you’re right, Gio is somewhat at fault. But….
So In Love Am I
But Gio doesn’t really give a damn about Dalton. Or animal testing, for that matter. Gio cares about Emma (Braedyn Bruner). Which he should. And he wants to be a good boyfriend. Which he should.
Which is why, when Emma said Dalton was testing on animals — without a spec of evidence beyond, literally, a spec of dog hair — Gio instantly believed her. And when she said, “Let’s break in and search for proof,” Gio said, “Yes, ma’am.” And when Emma said, “Let’s recruit some minors to help us in our crime,” Gio knew just whom to ask. For Emma.
All By Myself
Yet, in the end, it was Rocco who made the decision to go along with his big brother and with Gio’s girlfriend. Just like, yes, Danny (Asher Antonyzyn) was the one who brought Rocco to the party earlier this year, but Rocco is the one who made the decision to drink to the point of near-death.
Rocco is gullible and impressionable, and a kid still trying to figure out his place in the world. But he is also old enough to be held responsible for his actions.
